Replica GT40 sounds good to me, are there any pictures?
Paul, how did you get on with the Countach on the track?
Matthew
Hi MatthewPaul, how did you get on with the Countach on the track?
Matthew
Paul got on the track and at one point I was behind him in the Tuscan and all I saw was some very cool flames coming out his exhaust. BBQ anyone. Shame you werent there with the cobra would have loved to have seen it on the track.

Hi guys
Would be interested to know how it looked on the track and to see vids or pics or hear a description. happy to meet for a pint this week if anyone up for a chat as I couldnt make today as had to do garden! ( or leave home)
On the first session i had the seat set wrongly so kept banging my head with helmet on so couldnt concentrate and felt was a danger so came in. Locked up brakes once on dampness on entrance to main hairpin but generally the car seemed ok
On the second session I felt happier as had the seat set corroctly ( yes I know Im an idiot). Had the tyres screeching a bit through the 's's'. Car felt ok, but as the brakes need a lot of push so i was perhaps over braking for corners to be safe as there isn't a back up of ABS. Just used 3rd and 2nd for hairpin. Took it to about 120 by end of main straight. Had told EVERYONE to overtake and spend a lot of time getting out of the way to ensure safe passing even hwen i could have held the line or the other car
It was the oldest car on the circuit by a margin and you have to respect that age
Didnt get brake fade like most others although the pads did smell a lot. Gave quite a bit of warning of going sideways and just pushed it slightly sideways about three times. Handling was fine and had none of the twichines of a 2wd diablo or the 360. the brakes arent up tothe performance and thats its singele biggest handicap for very fast driving. Engine coped fine and had bags of torque although used 2nd a couple of times in s's to push it but diffenrece was marginal
was anyone behind me when i went slightly sideways? How did the car look?
Hope you all had a great day today and sorry couldnt be there
hopefully see u during the week for a coffee or a pint! Tinderbox west end all nice cars outside!
Paul xx

Does anyone know about the red and black Ford GT40 that attended? Was it a replica? Does the SS-R mean anything significant? I am not meaning to offend the owner if it is real or otherwise, I just know next to nothing about Ford GT40.
SS-R was an all-marque scottish car club which is now defunct. There was a member with a GT40 replica in it when I was a member.
This is the Replica GT40

One of my best pics of the cars on the track. Does anyone know the derivative of the Ultima?

On two wheels.

Here is the Koenigsegg CC8s(a picture of my phone hence the quality)

I have tonne smore pics(especially of the Zonda and Koenigsegg but I can't be bothered uploading them yet.
