Race/ track prepared Audi A4

I have seen a race/ track prepared A4 1.8T for sale which could be good value. Its a FWD, not a quattro version. I was wondering if anyone had tracked a similar car? Its not the obvious choice of car for the track, I think, with the N-S engine out front but at the right price it might be worth a punt! I'm a bit worried about the potential for massive understeer, anyone got a view/ experience of this sort of car?

Nope - never seen a track prepared A4. As you say it is not really an ideal candidate for track work. Unless something fairly major has been done with the suspension set-up, then yes I would say that understeer will be the order of the day at the limit on a track.
