Do you mean waxoyl as a generic term, or actual waxoyl? Dinitrol is the stuff to go for, waxoyl comes pretty much bottom in tests, and by a huge margin. Any company that knows it's stuff will not be using actual waxoyl, which is rubbish, comparatively.

Be careful, they say on the site

"Dynax S50's soft-film is optimised for enclosed cavities where extremely corrosive conditions develop. Dynax S50 is also recommended for protection of valuable machinery and component in transit, machine tools, moulds etc."

Waxoyl works on exposed surfaces, I am not sure that Dynax will work well except for cavities.

Hydrate 80 looks to be the product for exposed surfaces, I must try and find that Practical Classics long-term trial that's mentioned.
