Great so now there are 2 chances to see it
any idea whether CBS or Speed is more likely to be in my hotel room?CBS WILL NOT SHOW THE RACE!
You should have actually looked at the link you posted. CBS have no F1 races anymore, and haven't done for at least a year. Speed's parent company, Fox, now has the rights to show the four non-Speed races, not CBS.
OP - Your only chance to see it is by watching Speed TV, so make sure your hotel carries it. Alternatively, try posting on the Speed TV forums, someone might know of a bar that's showing it, although it'll be on at the crack of dawn.

With the race starting at 08.00am NY time you are going to struggle to see it in a sports bar. Speed Channel will show it but 90% of hotels do NOT carry this channel. My best guess is phone ahead or plug in a lap top listen on Radio 5 live and the web.
Radio 5 live doesn't have the rights to stream the races online, only on the radio, so the internet feed is blacked out when the race is on. You're pretty much SOL if you can't find a TV showing Speed.Gassing Station | General Motorsport | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
