Oops, I spelt Harewood wrong.

Went to Harewood Hill today for the first time. Again, just like the Cruise yesterday, I'm gutted I've not been before.

http://s67.photobucket.com/albums/h318/skamanfrank... for For the rest- nearly 200 in total
Not the best photos unfortunately, I'm no photographer and was using a point and click special!

Lovely day for it, I'm much more tanned than this morning that's for sure!

First off, some car park spots:

Ace

Cobra

Then straight into the paddock as some of the cars were starting to head down the hill to the start:

Supercharged Hayabusa! Had to drop out in the afternoon though due to an oil leak

It was a bit hot:

Some of the "roadgoing" class cars:

Enduro rally car venturing onto the hills for a change- Lots of unnecessary weight on there.

Yup! A jag e-type with big arsed wide arches and tasty split rims.

OMFG SAXOOOOOOOOOOO!!! HOW MANI VALVZZZZZZZE?

Straaaaaaaatos!

And action shots:

Sideways!

Stealth helmet!

And some from the final corner:

Oops

Another oops!

3 wheelin'

I hope Chris Price knows that his rival Karl Jackson is killing his suspension by parking his ass on the bonnet!

The E type is an original E-Type with racing body and its a regular at Harewood. Sounds absolutely wonderfull too!

The Sierra XR4X4 belongs to a friend of mine who I was snapping for yesterday, he's putting a lot of work into that car and starting to nail some good times!!!!!

That Saxo (number 92) Im fairly sure is a lad on here....

Tell ya something, Ive been watching that little thing for over a year and its bloody swift and manages to hang on around the bends without understeering too badly or making an arse of itself!

Harewood is a cracking day albeit a tiring one if you're like me and venture all the way around the track to as many different vantage points as possible hehe

Keep your eyes peeled for the next event as I should be there on the behest of Mr Price once again thumbup

Chris on the other hand just kills the front tyres, Looks like Chris is warming his hands to pick up the rear and slide Karl onto the floor!!

dont worry - you'll know when Jagd is taking pictures by your post.... he keeps a magnet in his pocket! mad

hehe

on saturday, he was down at the esses for a bit... and we had the fiesta, the capri and a couple of other spinners... so i told him to sod off (in a polite waywink ) so off he goes to Clarks... where upon Mr. Moorhouse hits the Recticell... i then spot him wandering towards the startline... and soon enough - car breaks its gearbox leaving the line!
(i think he was also in the vacinity when a certain single seater flombeyed its air filterwink )

:rofl rofl

Ahhh but you forgot the Westfield that went off at Clarks in my pressence, the Van Diemen going off on the esses and showering me in the kitty litter and three of four people spinning on the exit of Quarry...including the sponsor Audi which nearly tipped biggrin

Worked a treat it did hehe

Must have been with us near the end of the first competetive run yesterday, we had Simon Green and one of the FF lads plant themselves in our shingle, and 3 or 4 other spinners, not to mention Haydn Spedding trying to rearrange the timing reflector and the thwackers, managed to miss both when at one point I thought he was going to make a new gate into the paddockyikes As usual Chris and Karl competing for the 'How many lines can I use today award!!', and Henrys second practise on saturday looked like the oakey-cokey, more turn-ins than a few.
No I'm not the Mansell look-alike, I'm the one that looks like an ad for a patch shop!!

i enjoyed my day up there too, tbh not to impressed with the ferrari lot...was expecting them to give it hell given they were all in their own gear but think i only saw a couple out of the 20 that sounded like they were giving it some stick.

firstly - theres a (famous) town, in Yorkshire spelt exactly the same as mine - how'd ya get it wrong! tongue outhehe

and Chris (ferret face) Brock doesnt do the MSA meetings anymore after a bad one last year when Moran Snr. had a resd mist moment and ignored the red flags (one of the those moments - booted it past Country, came past us at 90% racing speed and past the rescue guy who was directing him behind the barn.

Roger did appologies later for it... but it annoyed Chris enough not to do the National meetings anymore smile

you still up for a beer after a meeting? smile

Still your photo taking doesnt compare with the camera guy on top of the shed - as i picked the bottle up from the gravel trap at the end of the day i spotted him filming me walking back... all the way back to the shed, till i got close enough to tell him to bugger off! hehe

Damn straight I am old pal, just need to sort out a day when Im not trying to cover 2 and 3 events in one day rofl

If theres nothing doing on the next event (Classic and Vintage?) I shall stay behind for a few on that day....need to find a designated driver though rofl

Might see about doing both days on that one as Chris is running on the sunday rather than saturday, but I missed the vintage last season

could always camp over in that case.

i've always got spare tickets, and you could always see if Chris has any too with his entry
