"old hat" cs - LOL !
Discussion
Even though they are based on a 9 year old design/shape. They still look good IMO. So not quite old hat just yet, maybe next year
. Like any good pininfarina design they are timeless
Though there seems to be alot of them about. There was some more at this weeks FOC event at Donington that i was looking at. They seem to look better than the Scuds there IMO.

When i was at Donington i witnessed a 348 with a stripe. All over the CSs and the Scuds believe it or not. It was taking them out left right and centre, especially on the corners. The 348 was an incredible track car, it even spat flames
I never have seen anything like it.
My conclusion is that it seems like there are a lot of CS owners who buys the best of Ferraris track cars and don't know how to exploit its potential. Just my opinion of course based on what i saw at the track.

truth be told , the scud feels sanitised . in the snow of cotswolds when the pics of blk scud were posted , i drove the cars back to back . the cs in race mode with cold tyres was as ever, a handful. the scud in rain mode never once twitched ....

the 348 is a very special and unique car. It has a 355 gearbox and NOS so it's very rapid . Plus the owner is a pretty handy driver too

I was at Donny the other day too, i thought the level of driving in the intermediate was bad, especially by one particular CS driver who didnt have a clue about lines or apex's. I didn't put my self in advanced as thought the level would be to high, I was wrong. Someone gave me a few passenger laps in a scud on normal tyres and i dont remember another car getting past or anywhere near. I was gob smacked by the gear changes, unbelievable!

I was amazed, i really didnt think it would be as good as the GT3 but i was wrong, i was able to concentrate so much more on my driving as the gears were so easy to get through. Also having the roof down i could sense a lot more of what was going on around me.
