Best F1 atmospheric circuits to visit?

1)Interlagos

2)Nurburgring

then spa etc..

Agreed,, Monza by a country mile. Def Monza. Starts on the train from Milan. Then crushing onto the bus from Monza station. The circuit reeks of history, take awalk up to the banking, you wont believe how steep it is. See all the fans camping out in the woods. And with luck Ferrari win which really heats up the place. Walk the circuit after. Heat noise passion history,,,nothing beats Monza.

Seems good ,, so is there nightlife outside the circuit from the f1... and is there set days to go to see the monza banking ?,,

The best circuits are the ones which let you walk on the track straight after the gp is this one of them ? and does anyone know any others

actually i think Monaco is pretty special - but perhaps that's about watching it as a kid and seeing it as the amazing race in this playboy location. It's still the most likely place you're going to bump into a driver or a team principle whilst walking around - our partying on the Sunday night

i didn't really like monza when i went there tho it was a few years back and i can't remember why now - the best for atmosphere for me anyway have been nurburgring, spa, brazil, suzuka, and monaco. i was meant to go to hockenheim a few years back but i broke my foot two days before...

The atmosphere in and around Interlagos is brilliant - "Give me your wallet English pig, or I will stab/shoot/hit/(all three) you".
Dirty filthy place.

I personally love Imola. The people (locals) are very nice and have a passion for the sport, and there are some very nice restaurants around there.
Come race week, you'll always get some unsavoury types turn up, but that's to be expected!!

Nurburgring - worth going just to drive round the Nordschlieffe!!

that's not entirely fair - i've been to interlagos for the last two years and i've never been called an english pig!!

I had a great weekend in Montreal, loved every minute of it. The town goes GP crazy for a few days and the centre in the evenings is just one big party, would definitely recommend it.

I was there last year was a brilliant atmosphere, makes european F1 races feel like very tame/lacking in atmosphere. Recommend you try it...

Montreal is amazing, good weather, a decent track, the city is outstanding and the best looking girls on the F1 calendar until Russia!!! beats all other races by a country mile.

Spa is a top track but no life outside of racing unless you drive to Maastricht and the weather is usually rubbish.

Monza is OK but worth staying up at Lake Como to enjoy the countryside, forget Milan its a dump.

Singapore may well be a race for the future if they can sort out the outrageous hotel prices! For the money stay in Malayasia and cross over the bridge for the GP weekend.

Hockenhiem Parties are great, infact the Germans in general know how to party (and drink!) they also like going to Spa, seem to camp and party for like a week.

Yep, for real hairs on the back of your neck atmosphere, get there really early and head out to Lesmo 2 for first practice. When I was there a few years back there was mist hanging in the trees, the stands were still dead quiet and you were very close to the track, it was an awe-inspiring sight seeing them come through there, even Alex Yooong looked quick!

2 years ago it really wasn't - one of the toyota team vans got held up at gun point and there was very little police presence except right at the perimeter of the circuit. on the way to the red bull party on sunday night, the taxi driver refused to stop at any red lights in case we got jumped so he just ran them all!

last year there were a lot more police around on teh roads and stuff tho, it did all seem pretty safe.
