Is it ne or is there not as many airfield track days around at the minute ? There use to be a company that did quite a few but I can't seem to find any offering them. Most of the airfields were over Wiltshire/Hampshire way.....

I've done loads of these track days, Ed is very professional and the days are friendly and fun... and safe!

Abingdon is my fav, very good track feel, Keevil is supposed to be good, next on my list, I've done Colerne as well, very fun.

Keevil is excellent. These guys do organise their days really well, and you'll get loads of track time.

I have been to Colerne and Abingdon, they were good days apart from the weather. I preferred Colerne as it seemed a bit more open, but Abingdon is a lot closer for me. Well organised days, will be going again

Javelin run days at Elvington, which is near York - wrong side of country, I know, but still north...

I was there yesterday. Lots of track time, and fairly relaxed. They have an issue with noise at Elvington, and a case in court next week to defend against a noise abatement petition. The surface is a bit rough and patchy, and I had to take it easy to avoid too much tyre squeal. Good, though, and cheap.

I did the Abingdon trackday today, run by Motorsport Events. I can thoroughly recommend going there. It was a well run event, all the drivers were well behaved and the instructors on hand were excellent.

Definitely a thumbs up from me.
