Seeing this today I am sure we could get TVR back in the papers and in to the record books.

No is the short answer, the long one is that this is only a record for the number of Fezzas on track at one time. The record for the number of cars of one make is,i think ,held by Citroen and stands at about ten zillion.Tempus smile

Yep think the french have this one all but sewn up - mind you don't think it was officially recognised as a record so there is still a window, but in real terms I think the Citroen nutters have it. They did it proper too, not just a Citroen gathering, this was just one model hehe

1600 they claim the count was, top bombing yikes

last summer at the TVRCC Diamond Rock event 551 TVR's took to the raceway, just not sure if it was verified by Guiness, if it was then the good old Sun gotr it wrong again.

Was never verified.

I have a funny feeling it might have somthing to do with Guniess BOWR suffering from Max Moseley Syndrome... The uncontrolable desire to lick ferraris ass.

;)

Guiness World Records are a law to themselves.

Had professional dealings with them. NOT IMPRESSED!

WTF!? Surely there was a Guiness BOWR at Rockinham that day?

I know the London Thunder event didn't count, but assumed the Diamond Rock one was legit, and TVR entered the record books.

I think this needs to be done again, but with a reporter/tv crew present to document the results, so Guiness can't shaft the event.

I think the reason Citroen did not get it was because the cars need to be rolling and no more than 2 car lengths apart. Correct me if I am wrong but was Rockingham just a collection or was it a full rolling preseason.

But as most of you have said I am sure it is the Sun getting it wrong again
