quick court question

when i go to court (96 in 60 at 1.40am post!)
does the BiB who pulled me have to attend in person aswell?

They don't have to turn up, however i believe you can request them to be there.

I was in court recently and the BiB was not there, a statement made by him was read out, I was told he would not attend unless I intended to plead Not Guilty in which case he would show up with the neccessary evidence (video) or that if I had pleaded Not Guilty without having informed the court that the hearing would be postponed so that he could attend.

Under the circumstances I pleaded guilty (coz I was) and saved him the trouble/allowed him to nick more 'dangerous' criminals
