Help / Advice: she's cutting out.

Hi Guys.
I seem to have picked up a little niggle (which has happened twice now), and was wondering if anyone might know what it is, as I’m sure it’s something of nothing.
Basically when I have had the car out for a run if (for example) I park up and leave her for let’s say 10 minutes and then get back in the car to fire her up, it ignites perfect, however if I leave her to idle, she will cut out. This can obviously be saved by giving a little bit of gas so the revs don’t drop too low and cut her out.
This has only happened twice and it has never happened when the car has been cold. The aircon is switched off and the stereo is off too so I don’t think it’s a battery issue, even thought the car is used as my second car, plenty of fuel etc. The car runs like an absolute dream regardless of this, so I don’t think its mechanical. I was wondering if anyone had any advice or knows what this could be.
