After a few crap years and s
te weather last year, ste Band, Astons beating the Corvettes, Fridays at Indi corner and Arnage being shut off by the police and the tossrs that think its fun to throw beer and other substances into open top cars and through open windows 
Im probally going to give it a miss this year

Clearly not trying hard enough. We have a great time every year without fail. Last year was even voted one of the best despite the rain. 9 years with 7 of them on the bounce, I'll be checking out Motors TV coverage or more likely listerning to radio le Mans & watching the Motors TV pictures. Don't know why I keep looking at this forum, it gets more painful the closer mid June gets!
I don't think it is on Motors TV this year. I believe Euro Sport bought the rights,Mark
It is indeed on Eurosport this year.
I'm not gong for the first time in a while, decided to give it a miss as it's a bit close to our wedding. I was feeling Ok about it as the intention was to make double the effort next year and it was likely we'd have motorhome for the first time.
However I'm feeling a bit frustrated now. The future Mrs has been asked by her parents to help with some decorating at their house in Lower Normandy, just over an hour from the circuit, on Le Mans weekend. Now, I'm struggling for holidays at work but I could probably blag the time off if I put in some serious begging, her Dad said he didn't mind if I tagged along with them, so i was starting to see an opportunity open
. Then I started to think about the logistic of travelling from the back of beyond in Normandy to Le Mans and back on my own, and then wandering around the circuit with no mates for 24 hours . Not to mention feeling guilty that I'd have free loaded over there while her family are busting a gut fitting a bathroom.
So it's back to Plan A. Take over the in-laws house while there away, we've not got Sky, and try and watch it all on Eurosport. Roll on 2009.

Not going again this year, 2004 was my last main race, called it a day after that, getting toooooo silly for my tastes so it was the classic in 2006 and will be again this year but this time its with 70 other cobras and 132 people, should be fun !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For those hitting the sacred ground in June ....have a good one.
