.Evening all.

Iv`e been offered a 1991 on a h plate mitsubishi gto twin turbo that i consider cheap.

The cars runs ok,nice box in her, drives spot on.

It`s black with white enkei 17"five spokes,tein suspension,hks filters,big fart can etc
although it`s not "that"fast and furious,it looks quite respectable.

It`s got no ticket on her though but there was a load of work done for the last one and it`s only done 2k since.

No dinks or dents on the body except for a slight scape about 10 inch long on the rear quarter.

Thinking about buying it for lemans then selling her on later.
Is it worth £650?
And if it goes belly up would it break for more than that?
Cheers chaps for any responce, good or bad.
Regards
Lee.

if the gearbox and engine are good (no grinding going into 2nd or 3rd, minimal lifter tick - or conversion to mk3 lifters, recent 60k service etc) and you have the facilities to break it then you'll more than make your money back - i recently paid 450 for a gearbox and transfer box alone so that'd leave you 200 quid to break even - i suspect you'd get that for the exhaust. GOOD parts for these cars are quite rare so they can be goldmines - it'd be a shame to break it though if it's running fine - better to chuck a grand at it, get it a ticket and tuneup and sell it on for 3k - double your money for little effort.
