I know there has been many subjects on this in here, but my insurance is up for renewal at the end of the month, and as i now have a company car, i can ditch the buisness policy in favor of a weekend one with [hopefully] track day cover.

I spoke to autotorque as they were reccomended, but they came out 100 quid more than my current insurer for the fully comp policy - and the track day cover required an extra 65 quid per time (with a 10% of the cars value excess on track days) - and no nurburgring cover either...

I'll probably call CCI this afternoon for a quote... but any reccomendations are welcome!

I got quotes from CCI, Heritage and Eggar Lawson. Heritage were cheapest (and covered unlimited track days) but unfortunately wouldn't cover my girlfriend and she is under 28.

I went with CCI as a result, and that made it costly IMHO - in fact I havent paid as much since I was early 20s - £751 for 5k miles, 29 years old, garaged, good area, use 3 other cars, 10 years NCB (although only get 30% discount I think as 70% NCB used on daily drive), GSOH etc etc.

ESure were by far the best for me but i think you need at least 4 years no claims and have to be over 25.

forgot to say, I didnt bother trying any esures or mainstream insurers as I wanted trackday cover - CCI only provide me 4 freebies a year though as against heritages unlimited.

esure were great on my jag - <£300 at <30 smile

got a decent quote off CCI - if i join SELOC (well, pay, im there already) and up the excess they pretty much matched my best quote - and thats with 4 free track days a year (woohoo!)

Just a quick question I forgot to ask them, do they cover the Nurburgring? (either normally, or as a track day?)
