Cheap Canon 28-135 USM IS

Currently only £199 on Amazon which is probably a mis-price. Its currently out of stock but saying they will ship when in stock, ive ordered one anyway hoping it will be honoured.

Although im not sure whether ive made the right choice as i quite like the 28-70 2.8 Tamron im using at the moment, although the extra reach will be useful and at least i can have a play and compare properly.

Just as I was about to order one, it's gone back up to £299.99. Hopefully they'll honour your purchase. Cracking lens for the price!

Argos clearance

Friend of mine just got one from here appears to be Argos clearing house.

Get it. Aside from the lack of width I've been impressed by mine, for a 'consumer Canon lens' (i.e. it's nowhere near L-quality but it's miles better than the kit-lens).

I paid more than that for a 2nd-hand one (but did get hood and skylight filter).

I rented the 24-105 f4 for my week in NYC, I'm not sure I could go back to a non L lens - what a bit of glass it's been!
