mmm, I'm a bit dubious about this. My Chim is a very early car. It is actually registered as a Griffith as the Chimaera designation didn't even exist in the DVLA database at the time! (I have the documentation from the DVLA for this). I had been advised by the PO that mine was in fact the motorshow car. The pics I have in some of my TVR books certainly show a green car on the TVR stand back then. Anyway, who really knows? I just drive it and enjoy it !!!

Saw this car with its new owner at the Oxfordshire meet last thursday, all the usuall early features , only unusual thing was the front grill looks to be bonded to the bodywork from the inside ( no rubber chanel like my '93 )
Could this be a clue to its early history ??
Whatever its history....very smart car in the flesh
