It seems that i have sprung a leak from my diff. I hope it's not due to the supercharger giving it more ooomph frown

Despite reading the bible, i can't see how i check the oil level, nor how i top it up, and with what?

Any clues please chaps.

Hi Blue,
To check the oil level, make sure the car is pretty level and the oil is cold.
Remove the filler plug and if oil seep's from the hole the level is good.
The easiest way to top up is use a funnel with a length of tubing connected, hold the tube in the filler and get someone to fill the funnel, stop when you achieve a flow from the hole.
You can use ep90 but if the diff has been reconditioned then a specialist oil needs to be used.
cheers

Hi David, looking at the bible looks like the filler plug is on the side (RH unless arse/elbow logic applied), note the bit about the breather tube can let some out if you have had a spirited run - you, nahhh laugh

Im about to do mine and recently bought Castrol Synthetic from Opie "as per"

Hi Nigel. The SC is everything i had hoped for, and some! There is awesome power available on tap, and the delivery is sweet and smooth biggrin I will be on the rolling road next week, so will post the results.

Hi Ian, wavey how are you keeping?
Many thanks for this. I didn't see anything down there, but will pop under today and have a peep around. There seems to be a little too much for a breather leak, but it does seem to be mainly on the rhs of the car, so fingers crossed. laugh at your spirited run comment
