I subscribed to CKC at Detling; but have since received nothing, any idea when I should get something in the post?

Cheers

Hi

I don't normally post here but due to the specific nature of your question I felt I should sign up to answer!

You should have taken the May 2008 issue with you at Detling. We publish to be in the shops by the third Friday of each month so your next issue June 2008, should be in your post within the next few days.

If you have any other queries please feel free to contact me through the contact details on the contents pages of the magazine.

Thanks

Justin

Nice car in your profile!

I think it was you I was following along the road between Tenterden and Headcorn on Saturday! I was about a half a dozen cars behind, so you probably didn't notice my efforts to keep up...

Yeah could well have been me, at about 3 oclock? It was a perfect day for a quick blat. Was on my way into Maidstone for an anti-Radio 1 Big weekend BBQ because a colleague who lives (literally) a stones throw from the venue didn't get tickets! I must confess I did't notice you behind me, are you local?

It was about that time, yes. I'm local-ish - Sittingbourne. I was heading back from Rye, where I found a terrific desserted B-road that's ideal kit car territory - the one that links Rye and Appledore. Will definitely head down there early one Sunday morning once the Riot is on the road.

Yeah military road along the canal is good. If at the Appledor end you turn right to Brenzett, then head out to Lydd, then Camber, then Rye; it is a stunning loop.
