I want to repalce the rear boot badge.
Is the existing badge held onto the badge plinth with d/s tape, or is it more complicated than that?
Thanks.

I need to do this at some stage - or potentially repaint my badge in situ.

Let us know how you do getting it off!

Then rear badge is an all one cast item that bolts on through the body spaced off on springs. I changed mine recently for a gold badge.

Quite a simple 10 minute job.

There is a large rubber grommet on the inside back wall of the boot, through there you can access the retaining bolts for the badge. There is also an access hole behind the multichanger (if you have one).

Just undo the bolts and the badge comes off.
