Anybody know what size spanner i need ? I can not get a socket on,the exhaust is too close,sure it never used to be !

The correct size is 1 1/8" AF, got mine off eBay from a supplier of ex MOD tools.

David, did you get my email? Also it may be a good opportunity to buy one of steve heaths magnetic sump plugs...

He won't be able to get it on/off if the exhaust is close - same as my precat, although Andreas 500 has a SH plug.

BB, you will have it by now. Got the thing off and oil changed, still poor pressure !!

Mines 3 times now, trouble is the oil light comes on at low revs !!

yikes Are you still going through issues with your builder ?

might be worth getting an external gauge on it to test pressure/flow..



Made my sender wire slightly longer to stop it pulling the sender spade, hoping that might help with the need to keep replacing senders!!! gained 5lb of pressure with new/beetr connections as well which was nice smile

Ahh SS name change. Hope its not trouble with engine build ! Neil Garner has it and hopefully something simple, like cracked oil pick up pipe.
