Ok, so I caved in and brought another Xbox 360, purely because of GTA! Oh and I didn't realise how much I had missed Forza either!

The package I brought came with two controllers, the main one which is already paired with the console and an extra one.
Problem is the other one, will not pair with it. Its not the console because I borrowed a mates controller and that paired up fine.
I press the connect button on the console and the controller and the console flashes like it should, but it just doesn't pick it up.

Any ideas anyone?

Take it back, try pairing up the working pad with your mates xbox and see if it will re-pair with your one after that, if it doesn't then it could be the box that's at fault.

The controller in question won't pair with his console either, so it must be the controller. Will have to take it back then.

Cheers Steve

Have you clicked in the infra red button on the controller and on the front of the console? I had this problem with my second controller until I did that.

Yup have pressed both buttons, even checked the instructions! It's a dud I'm sure.

yes

Afraid it sounds like a dead controller matey!

ETA: Have you tried messing about with the battery packs (ie. switching the working battery pack to the other controller & vice versa)?
