Hello fellow Grifters, I'd appreciate some help here. My '92 Griff suffers from a high frequency vibration between 50 and 70 mph. The exact speed tends to vary depending on the road surface and tyre pressures. Although I can feel it through the steering wheel, its most prevalent through the pedals and can be clearly felt through the floor. I have changed the front tyres, replaced the front ball joints and had a geometry check, all required attention, but the vibration is still there. I have even tried running the car with a completely different set of wheels and tyres, but the vibration is still there. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

I had this although it was at 110mph plus (track before you ask), turned out to be propshaft whip, had the propshaft uj's greased etc and now its fine.

Had the same on the chim. Weird vibration at speed turned out to be a dry UJ on the prop. On my chim there is a grease nipple and it should be done every service but it seems that the previous owner had it serviced by someone that didnt know about this servcice item. Took an indie to spot it - stripped it down and it was dry as a bone. Packed with grease and put back together problem solved. I make sure it gets a good seeing to every year now !
