blackberry view

Could somebody crank up that gizmo techies use to simulate blacberry view, as my view has gone a bit strange especially when inputting text in the reply box.

I have to type 'blind' so to speak, as no text appears untill I post reply
The model is the 8310 BTW

No answer yet so I'll explain further as it reads a bit vague'ish

reply to topic box, opens as usual, begin typing, but only One line of text appears!
I continue typing, but from now on no text appears.
the only way to check spelling etc before posting reply is to
go back a page
forward a page, at which point the complete message appears
edit it as necessary,
submit

Ted I've read you use a 'viewer' on occasion in the past to recreate the Blackberry view,
could someone have a look again with newer BB models available?
