Sorry guys don't know why they dont work. I have tried them again this morning and they work on mine and my son's PC.

Some are 3 meg in size so may be thats a problem? I have a 2 meg broadband connection so cannot test at slower speeds to see what happens.

It will be a shame if you cannot see them as we managed to get 12 small videos of the rumbles...

The probelm is that there is a space in the pathname of your pages. Not all systems (especially internet servers) treat them properly and they should be avoided.

I reckon if you rename your pages to get rid of the space, you should be fine.

Really sorry about these problems, I have removed the spaces in the file names to see if this helps.

Sound and no Video, what format and compression type is the AVI? MPEG, DivX etc? Is it a common format that most people will have codec thingys for?

Rich you many need more up to date video codec thingys, don't completely understand it myself though before you expect me to get too techi.

Hopefully this helps

Sorry, removing the spaces didn't do the trick.
It's the HTML page that is missing, not the AVI.

The missing URL is
www.tvrcerbera.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/videoone.htm

A lot of servers are case sensitive regards the file name, so if the file it should be pointing to is videoOne.htm, then fit won't be found.

Another classic error is ambiguity over .htm and .html extensions.

Either way - there is no file called 'videoone.htm' at the top of your webspace.

Can you try again please

I downloaded all the AVIs from Ed's posting and they all worked fine for me on Windows 2000 Server with RealOne Player v2.0

Plus, I appear in DSCF0008! I'm the blue S3 following 5 litre Rita in her Griff.

Fame at last!
