I have finally got my Tam out of storage and had it serviced plus new Gaz Gold Suspension put on. Also I had it raised to enable me to get the car over certain speed bumps and get it in the garage without the use of pieces of wood!.
The ride is a vast improvement on the original set up although due to the increased height it doesn't handle as well through corners, still getting used to cornering. it is set a little softer for more road comfort and doesn't break your back anymore and skit about when you hit a pot hole :-) Her in doors now likes to be in it.
The suspension can be stiffened up with the rebound setting if i do want to take it to the track and lower it if I so wish. I have to say it is money well spent. It needs laser alignment doing but waiting until it settles down and I get the set up (rebound and preload) exactly how I want it first. Bin the STD suspension you wont regret it!.
