I've just got the metal to make a 1mm stainless one, very easy to make. smile Original doesn't perform any stengthening unlike the chassis girdle under the exhausts.

Rich, thats the one I'm on about, the longer of the two plates that mounts underneath the exhausts. It just struck me the other day it is quite heavy, but not necessarily very rigid. I know aluminium plates were availalbe but can't seem to find one anywhere on the net.

Longbox, why not pop along to your aircraft repair shop and get a bespoke one made out of titanium? I had a few bits done this way on my old car.

While you are at it Windsor, i'd have a couple of air to air AIM-9 Sidewinders put on. That'll look good. smile

Cheers Rich, that's the one! I looked at Joo's site but couldn't find it - see it is in the suspension section.

BTW how is the LS conversion coming along?

Good mate, just found out the original Cerb propshaft female spline fits straight onto the T56 gearbox!!! I'll cut the propshaft to the right length tommorow. Will do an update on here soon, just want to get a bit further on the exhaust system.

PS. The blower is on smokin

Rich.

Sounds awesome, I think you may have something very special there with a supercharged LS1. I guessing much cheaper than an LS7 yet with more power/torque. Can't wait.......
