I have enquired at 2 dealers now about buying a new A5. One assured me that the car was available with paddle shift which I do not think is right. He is now telling me that deliver will be 5 - 6 months and no discounts will be available.
The other dealer did not even return my 2 telephone calls.
I do have a quote from http://www.broadspeed.com/ offering a discount and 9 weeks delivery. Has anybody bought from these guys?
I have never owned an Audi before but I'm starting to think that the whole experience is getting off to a bad start.

sorry to laugh but that's pretty much the norm in audi stealership worldKeep pluggin @ the b!ggers & eventually you will find an audi salesperson that will take you seriously.
Plus, keep negotiating till you get a good financial package
Personally, i have found the stealers north of the Watford Gap more engaging.
Proof: 3 Audi's purchased past the Gap @ wicked prices & great customer service once they realised I was for "real"
I realise you are up north of london but you could try mr de silva at guildford audi iirc or otherwise my local east kent canterbury. Have only dealt with guildford sales wise and even that was merely a query and they could not be more helpfull and fantastic feedback called to ask if i had any other questions and with updated info when he got it.
