1985 'Vintage' Stump-jumper Sport

I've had this bike from new, IIRC mountain bikes were a brand new idea back then
It's all 'original' except for the saddle;
I've even got the original tyres somewhere .

Is there such a thing as a 'Classic' bike,
or is it just a worthless 'old bike' ?
