Does anyone know where I can get any 13" wheels for my westfield SEI? They are only needed for track days so I don't want to spend loads on some nice shiny new ones, so condition isn't too important but they must be straight. I've had a look on Blatchat and e-bay and can't find anything.

Thanks for the help.

Gavin.

I'm going to get shot down now.

Will they fit 185/60/13's on? I'm getting some slicks from a friend of mine, I didn't think the XR2 wheels were wide enough.
Here is why I'm getting shot down. I don't really like the look of those. I was thinking more along the lines of some used Minators or CXR's (like the ones already on ATM. Don't mind paying reasonably for them, I just don't want to be stuck for £400-£500 for a new set.

Thanks again.

Gavin.

A set of Ford RS 4 spokes will do it. Loads use them for their trackday tyres. Frequently on eBay, as a matter of fact Like these
Should be cheaper without tyres...

I've got a set of 5 Weller 8-spokes going for free in the Guildford area (no idea on the widths though!). They were originally on my Locust (LSIS), and are dual-PCD Ford and Triumph.

The tyres haven't really been used, but they're probably 9 years old...

Quite agree, they make your expensive car look st, but they are very cheap. You should try them though with the cheapo tyres on. Far more fun as they have no grip and you can drift like a hero on them. These tyres + elvington are the best TD you'll ever do

It would be rude not to take you up on your very kind offer.

I'll send you an e-mail now.

I have CXR's on my Westfield - paid £700 for 4 wheels and 4 R888 tyres.

There is literally nothing available in 13 inch that looks good other than the CXR's so you're a little stick.

I think Minilite do some, but they are all filth!

CXR's are worth the money due to their weight!

I've got CXR's as well, really nice, but a lot of the Westie people seem to run the Caterham wheels, which I think are a similar weight and price as the CXR's.

Plenty of other rims in 13" that look fantastic check out Image for a start.
The compomotive ml's minilite style arn't a lot heavier than cxr's. There's another manufacturer doing split rims that are lighter than cxr's as well.

Thanks to everyone replying on the thread. I took the wheels from Tribbles on his very kind offer. They have now been fitted with the slicks and are getting a lick of paint this week and will be tried out at VMax very soon. We'll see if we can take a few scalps round the bends.

Thanks again to Tribbles.
