Sounds good. Have you test-driven it yet?
In my experience (and others might tell you differently) I'd be a little concerned about the recent mileage (or lack of). When I bought mine, it had been used very little for a couple of years and hardly at all for the 6 months immediately before I got it. It ran really rough for a while and needed a good service and a couple of thousand miles before it returned to its silky smooth straight-6 self.
I still miss mine. I think you have to own one at some stage. But be prepared for big bills. I spent a small fortune on mine over the 18 months I had it (included headgasket replacement, brake calipers etc, and a whole host of other things I can't immediately remember). Also bear in mind that the metric tyres are hard to come by and are therefore expensive. I think only Avon and Michelin make them. Many swap the wheels to imperials (15s or 16s) off a 5 series or use Alpina's (or copies). My wheel of choice would be the deep dish 8 series cross-spoke, if you can find a set.
There's been loads of stuff on here over the last couple of years on the old 6 series, so definitely worth a search of the forum threads.
