efficient dynamics

guys can i confirm efficient dynamics started in sep 2007 could you tell me how it effects mpg etc on any models you may know about. Looking at 3 series 2nd hand wondering if it would be better to go for one of these later 2nd hand models rather than say a year earlier. thanks for any input

ED cars are mostly in lower VED bands as well as being more economical.
