From the ABD e-mail list enjoy! Rich...

" A Kent radio presenter who is a Class 1 Advanced Driver has been campaigning about road safety as opposed to a focus on speed, was caught going 46 mph on a road that recently had it's speed lowered from 40 to 30 mph, at 5:45 in the morning by a mobile camera of the
Kent & Medway Safety Partnership, which had been hiding behind bushes on private land. However..........

Within days of receiving a summons the radio presenter set up a covert film operation and caught the civilian "officer" who caught him in his "Safety Van" doing 40 mph in a thirty limit, joining a 70 mph dual carriageway at 35 mph causing other vehicles to change lane rapidly, cutting up a van on a roundabout, driving without due care and consideration, impeding the progress of traffic by driving along roads at 30 mph less than the speed limit, and repeatedly failing to indicate his direction at roundabouts.

The Kent & Medway Safety Partnership man when politely told of what had been filmed was speechless. The investigation into the "Safety Partnership" is continuing.

Paul Smith

That is brilliant

I live in Medway

I have always thought about doing a similar thing to all the high police officers that continue to press on against the average motorist.

Well done Mr. Kent Radio Presenter

As posted in a seperate thread I followed a Sussex Police Crash Support Unit that was a crash waiting to happen today.

Kent Scamera Partnership do hide their vehcles and in the progress of the improvements at the top of Bluebell Hill has resulted in slower speed limits, and a confusing layout of speed limit changes.
