GT2 Geometry and Redline Racing Thornaby.

I bought a GT2 (996) which i thought was the best of the bunch of 7 that i had seen(but that's another story)
To be honest it was a bit of a pig to drive but i hoped that it was nothing that couldn't be dialled out.
A few niggles
Short shift change which Arnie would have struggled with,
Playstation steering and more toe out than a pair of sandals,
Misfire at 4500/5000 revs,
Brakes needed sorting,
Anti roll bars too stiff,
Two days later i picked up a car which did not resemble the old one that i had left to fettle.
WELL DONE CHAPS/CHAPESSES
I would not hesitate to recommend these Porsche specialists to entrust your car to.
They might not have the palm trees and cappuccinos but you don't get the telephone number bills either!

I'm great thanks Carl. Hope you are too? I've seen a few 911s kicking about just lately, must be quite a gathering in our area. Can't wait for a few run outs this summer.
Back on topic, how often should I get the geometery setup on mine? I got it done about a yr ago (at Redline) but think it might need doing again - doesn't seem as stable as it once did to me, but not sure if I'm just driving it harder/faster now? I've done 13,000 miles in that time

Money well spent, i could have sh#gged a new set of tyres on the way home, and i was sick of looking out of the side window to drive it!!

There are to be fair a top notch outfit, and above all honest and look after the cars as if it was there own.
Darren and Dave have sorted my old steed out for me on numerous occasions when the local OPC wanted to get the car booked in and take a good look - b
ks.With RLR you get what you pay for, good advice, good comments and above top class work at reasonable prices.
You cannot fault them at all, even the little niggles with mine were sorted out for free.
So again, hats off to RLR Thornaby.
Fran, IMO the geo set up should be done very 6 months with the miles you do mate
