mirror switch

hi fellow griffters can any one tell me what car the switch is that works both wing mirrors my passenger one works as it should IE up down and in and out but the drivers side only goe,s up and down ,can any one tell me if it is the switch and if it is where can i get one or could it be something else any help would be welcome many thanks paul

It's probably the left/right mirror selection switch. Not sure what car they came from - very old Cavilier springs to mind.

Otherwise, it's one of the motors inside the mirror. It's not hard to do continuity & resistance tests on the wiring for the mirror near the front of the door...
