Japfest - track action pictures

Although we didn't have a stand we had a little convoy down to Castle Combe for Japfest 2008. Like most we were expecting downpours but were glad when the weather remained fine throughout the day. Phew!

Not sure if any of you went on the track but if you did fingers crossed we have a picture or two of you.

Cheers, this is my mates Stu and Rich. They have negotiated the use of that Evo for a few rally events this year. This was the first time Stu had driven it.

It has a L28 2.8ltr NA engine...I rebuilt it...new pistons, rebore, ARP rod, main and head bolts, 2mm steel head gasket. Arizona Z sump, turbo oil pump, Megasquirt II, ford EDIS ignition, 680cc injectors, Holset HE351CW turbo, 3" IC and Exhaust system. Custom struts and dampers, Wilwood 4 pots front VW calipers rear. I still have a lot to do to it but it's geting there. Did you hear my IC hose explode on the 3rd lap? the one after I spun it 360
