Hi!

Part 1 : Decided to order an Europa S Luxury Pack and 225 upgrade.
After 4 Elise, went to my favorite dealer (150 km), and... during the buying negociations, he was gone under administration!

Part 2: Wanted the car absolutely in nightfall blue. Cancelled for M.Y. 08!
Found one '07 at a new dealer but 350km far away. I ordered, bur the car was delivered with a few paint knocks and the Elise/Exige handbook.

Part 3 : After the march delivery, 8 weeks raining and snowing all days, so let it in the garage.
Finally, i drove it 1544 km (!), and i was very happy, the car is great !!!
I cleaned, waxed it more than 18 hours in all details.(like the white Exige in the forum!)
One evening, parked it in the garage, and the next morning, impossible to start it !!!!
Battery ok, fuel pump ok, but...nothing, d...!
Phoned to the dealer, and after no result, decided to send me a transporter to bring it back to look after.
Very disapointed, but nothing else to do...
2 days later the transporter came and i saw my loved car on a trailer to start in the unkown.

Part 4 : Next day, my dealer called to announce me that the car had broken the towing ring when the transporter let it down, falled on the front clam, destroyed the frond structure, and, to finish, repumped with the rear into a parked nex Zafira !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Part 5 : Will follow next...

Awfully bad luck Gil... hopefully your problems are ironed out soon. No reason they can't repair it as good as new. Make sure you keep on at them to MAKE SURE it's 110% when it gets back to you. If you're not happy with it in EVERY way when you get it back, let them know smile

Apparently the towing rings are very prone to failure on the elise at least (i assume it's a similar set-up on the europa). Both times I've used the RAC/AA they've been insistent I sit inside and cover the brakes as it's been loaded/unloaded for this reason. Sorry to hear about your bad luck but the dealer should have known better, not that it's your problem, it's going to cost them.....
