Can anyone recommend a steering rack reconditioner for a non pas rack, or what was it originally fitted to? + what are the track rod ends from?

thanks

The Track Rod Ends are Ford parts.
I bought both from Parkers recently. You'll have to google them because the invoice has no telephone number on it and I'll not sure if you'll have one in your area.

The part numbers are FTR4414 and FTR4415 - these numbers are on the invoice and the First Line OE Parts box.

I'd check if your TREs are straight or offset though, ie. O---- or O____ because I had one of each and replacing an offset one with a straight has stuffed up my tracking. (I think straight are the norm)

I used Kiley Clinton Engineering in Birmingham to recondition my rack
They did a top job and can turn them round in a day or so.
Easiest to post the rack to them if you're not local.

Thanks guys, i got the rack reconditioned at Power Steering Services in Greenwich for the princely sum of £90 + vat, what a result.
