Knowing how knowledgeable the wedge boys are, does anyone know of a steering rack reconditioner in essex / dartford area. The rack is a non pas Griffith rack.

thanks

Are you able to provide any details of the work carried out?

This is what iam told,
They dont check each rack to find out exactly what is worn.
Each rack is stripped
All parts are checked and cleaned
New bushes are fitted
New gaiters fitted
Refilled with oil
Reassembled
Checked

That sounds like a good price - I guess the price depends on what is worn and needs replacing. Pretty fair.
