147 1.9 jtd power loss

got a 53 plate 147 1.9jtd lusso its done 120000 miles and its lossing power i think it maybe the fact of wear and tear but it could alsobe time for a new turbo does anybody know of such probs

Could be all manner of things, BUT, before blaming the turbocharger, it *could* be something simple like a leaky/split pipe from the turbo, losing boost and therefore power.

Yes, as Scooterman says check the hoses. The hose which runs from the turbo to the intercooler runs near a stud on the gearbox and it can rub. I had to replace ours - the car was down on power and was producing a lot of black smoke under load. It's about £65 for the pipe and you need a couple of decent hose clips.
