M20 update

spotted yesterday "road safety van" on bridge just after M26 junction and just before you go up wrotham hill

Ahh yes lemonsman, l too have seen this safety van, in my case coming down Wrotham Hill. He is occasionally there keeping us all safe and sound. Fortunately l was hidden behind a numpty l was just about to overtake as l may have been doing 71mph.

There was an article in the KM last week about residents in Petham being lent speed detectors by the police to ensure we dont exceed 50mph. There was also the suggestion that the whole of Stone Steet should be 50mph. Have written to KM as Outraged of Tunbridge Wells, though quite what l would be doing on that road if l were from Tunbridge Wells, l dont quite know!!

I noticed the van on the A20 yesterday morning too! Just in time mind!

Why they bother with it there only a few hundred yards from the fixed camera I've no idea!

Mind you, over the last year or so I've seen more unmarked police cars pulling people over than I have scamera vans....

One thing that needs to be noted by the non locals is that all the locations being discussed are within spitting distance of the Maidstone Hilton the venue for the upcoming TVRCC AGM, be in no doubt that on that day the Talivans will be surrounding it like a ring of steel.

More A20 updates.

Just after the second speed camera the limit drops to 40 on a bend, just after the bend there is a layby - an old favourite haunt for laser guns. Talivan there the other week, and also on the opposite carriage way hidden behind a hedge on the bend. Beware.
