BMW 840 CI service!

i need to get my 840ci serviced ... any good sepcialest service near/in surry west london as i have experienced the bmw dealers let their untrained kids ruin a 635 csi before.
please help!

Where are you based, I would be happy to look at it for you? I know a little bit about them.

Phil Crouch at CPC in Marlow is your best bet. Give him a shout on 07960 280953. His labour rates are favourable but he will really go over the car and tell you what WILL need to be replaced as well as what work he is doing immediately. Huge knowledge and very well respected.

I would also recommend Garry Wollacott who runs Autoban Services in Rickmansworth too. His work is outstanding and he really knows hos older BMW's. An Alpina and M Sport specialist.

BMW Werks in Hayes also offer top rates and huge knowledge.

Autotech near Heathrow also know their stuff. Not smart in appearance and no courtesy cars etc, but again outstanding work and good rates to work on more unusual BMW's.

I'll be keeping an eye on this, all the green lights on the onboard computer are lit so it'll need servicing soon, I'm on the South Coast BTW.

If all the Green lights are lit then you wont be needing a service for quite a long while

It goes something like 5 green - 4 green - 3 green - 2 green - 1 green - 1 amber (+ service due message - 1 red (+ service due message)

Belleair 302 any of these guys able to do a wing respray as there is a small but anoying scratch on a wing and i need to replace a fog light .. cracked...

8 TECH ... ILL CONSIDER YOUR OFFER... AS WELL SAME QUESTION. also do you have a work shop and can add to the service record ps ive seen your photo of your tools (sounds doggy.. but impressive peice of kit!! lol)

Ah, I thought it would be more like the shift light on a Ferrari, one green, two green, three green etc... I'll be ignoring this thread for a while then

All of these specialists have great working relationships with local bodyshops and will be more than happy to make sure that the job is done properly and not botched.

I have 2 workshops and 2 machine shops available when required and a really good bodyshop, the only one I have ever found that I trusted to paint my CSi bonnet. A one man band who is very busy but very good. He painted my friends E30 completely and it won Gaydon overall in 2007 and is used for display by Maguires at shows.
Nuff said?
I can also do a KDS without moaning about non-standard wheels and suspension. I can also stamp your service book OK.
I am pretty busy so I need some advanced warning.
