WP, any info on your suspension kits?. Just had the 20" wheels put on my VXR8. Ride is harsher so wondered if any of your products make for a better ride. Better damping etc.....

If yours is the silver one, them I'm loving your number plate. There's a closer pic up on the VXR forum. I'm thinking about ordering me one of those smaller front plates to fit the smaller recess. Have you been pulled over yet?

For my sins the BIB have chosen to have words with me on a couple of occasions. Only once was the number plate mentioned. I pulled my printout from the DVLA website from the glove-box and showed it to the officer and nothing more was said. He said initially that it didn't comply with the construction and use regs (1986 I think), but then I claimed exemption on the two points as listed on the DVLA website, and demonstrated that the lettering size is correct.

A guy called Andrew gave me a great link on the VXR forum, and although you can order a plate any size, there's no way I can see to guarantee that the lettering size will be as close to legal as possible. Where did you get yours made up?

Sorry I don't recall off hand. It was one of the online suppliers. I rang several and one guy was very helpful on the phone. I gave hime the lettering size (from DVLA) that I wanted, and the maximum plate size (based on the recess available) and left it to him. That's what came in the post, for about a tenner.
