As much as I try, I can't find a guide anywhere online. I need to do my mother's disco 1 outer CV's as they're making a racket and causing the ABS to go mad.

Anyone done one before, and if so, is it easy enough to DIY?

Cheers,
A

yes. They are easily diyable. Have a look on Difflock.com or lr4x4.com. Disco is nearly same as RRC or defender

Hi, it’s an easy job, you just need a hub nut spanner if you haven’t got one!

hub nut spanner

Remove the wheel

un bolt the calliper and hang it out of the way

Remove the drive flange

Undo the hub nuts and remove the hub/disk assembly

Unbolt the stub axel and you can then pull out the half shaft assembly and change the cv

I did one I broke off roading, got a kit from paddocks and it had everything needed to do the job bar the hub nut spanner.
