I do but it's for the shorter front cover.
So need another so I can do a cut and shut.

Apparently it's the THOR short front cover that does not fit anything else (no dizzy) - was that what you sump was for ?

You could always ebay it and buy another..

I think V8 Tuner does them and John Eales sells them complete (New).

I have the THOR front end. See progress report.
and the Sump For the THOR Front end is longer, so you need a longer sump.
I know I can get a new one from the about but that's about £300. be cheaper to cut and shut mine with a old sump.

Lee - if you have a sump that fits .. I noticed on the Real Steel website they have a weld it yourself trap door kit for less than a hundred notes..

Yes I did.

As said I have a sump that is baffeld and trap doored. so be eaiser to just get a cheap sump and cut and shut it to make it longer.

There was a complete engine with sump and heads etc on ebay that sold for £25. collection from liverpool.

I know its only £100, but it's also more work than just a cut and shut.

I was just thinking that it's difficult with steel that thin to avoid distortion due to the heat .. and as the sumps are often difficult to seal (hylomar etc..).

If you do it - you could try the wet rag trick to help stop the heat spread ..

as long as you don't try to weld it all in one go. it should not be a problem.
Just tack every inch. and do then seem weld each inch letting to cool down after each one.

Also I'll weld it bolted to a spare scrap block to keep it held in place.
