After success with the hot air recirculation modification I decided to temporarily block the incoming cold air. No more popping windows at high speed. Zero to 100mph flat out and no wind noise. Fixed. I don't want to suffocate myself so I'm bypassing the foam wing filler in stages to ensure there is sufficient ventilation without over pressurising the cabin again. I'm working on the assumption that provided the area of the bypass tube is equal to or less than the area of the under-window and new boot vents I should have the optimum balance of fresh air and cabin pressure. Others have reported the same problem so I just thought I'd let everyone know.

Hmmm. My windows don't pop. I just get howling noises.

Did this using the TVR offical modification notes, help from this forum and a few ideas of my own. I can describe the whole process if required. Any specific questions?
