Hi, two of my alloys are letting air out slowly, 35 psi to about 10/15 psi in a week. My friendly garage dunked them in water and the air is escaping through the metal (under the tread). After taking the tyre off the rim, there is a light skim of body filler over certain parts of the wheel.

Anyone know of a company that can remove the filler and repair the metal properly? Even better if they could then refurb the wheels after repair.

In case it helps, the wheels are Zender Milanos, fake split rims, on a Alfa 164.

Cheers

Hi mate, im not sure where your from, so this may be of no use to you!
Try laptab (think thats how it spelt) in birmingham, there really good!

It sounds to me like someones already attempted a botched refurb, its best to get it done professionally!!
Good luck!!

Pete
