My Racecar went to XXX in Essex to have a new ECU fitted and to be mapped, simple enough I hear you say! They destroyed the engine on the dyno helped me push it back on the trailer and then charged me an extra grand in hidden charges for my trouble also a job that was to take a week turned into months effectively losing me a further grand in lost race entries enough said?

My faith in so called TUNERS has been badly dented I'm afraid, They are not racers just boy racers looking to charge huge costs to chavs with turbo nutter barges I will stick to race car people in future I still beat myself up about it I should know better after 15 years!!!

you could try talking to Tom Gannon at TGM Sports. They race DC5's and race prepare other cars as well (mainly hondas). They also race in Britcar I think.

I know Tom and yes he is very good with Hondas but I have the TOP MAN now no worries.

Hmm, so there are no good ones to recomend? If this was a scooby needing a mod etc there are loads of recomendations for certain companies but this cant be said for honda, so looks like i am still on the look out for a quick sunday car!

Yes I can recommend My guy, to give some idea of his talent in last years 24hr he helped the team running a DC2 in the next garage to ours in the final stages without him they would have not finished!!
Very clever lad with an impressive cv and still realistic prices! he does work on anything not just Honda, take a look at Steve Griffiths Jade Chrysler now twin Turbo He has done a load of mapping work on it and I don't think Steve will mind me saying helped a great deal with the conversion. mail me at [e-mail] and I will give you his Details.
