So, there I was wondering why my main beams wouldn't light up. They all flashed so the bulbs and fuses etc must be intact.... Ah well, as I had fitted the Sportmotive upgrade and additional relays etc. I thought I would double check my work. So, up in the air, wheels off, pods open for inspection and I couldn't find the fault. I probed and probed with my multimeter but it didn't make any sense. I had 12V when I operated the flash switch but as soon as I put the headlight switch on the dash in, nothing.
I moved my meter down to the main beam units to double check the relay feed and all of a sudden it slowly dawned on me, what t
t at TVR decided to wire the main beam flash circuit through the dip beam fuse?
Still, I suppose I've learned a little more about the idiosyncratic wiring on TVR's
Mental note to self:
Always check the simple things first!
