Was the sound as I reversed the Cerb into an S Class at 6am at Gatwick t'other day. Hardly a mark on the front of the Merc but the Cerb has a ruddy great split from tail pipe to boot lid with the paint cracking in a line over the boot towards the rear o/s and more split GRP in the arch.
Initially the ins co wanted to write it off over the phone (without even inspecting it!!) but with some valuable advice and info from fellow PH'ers managed to find a GRP repair shop who not only are dealing with (and kicking up the arse) the ins co, but they will have her back on the road by early July with a full respray and all my little 'dings' from the last 70k miles sorted to boot. (?!)
And yes my pride is as dented as the Cerb would have been if made of metal and I've had the appropriate amount of p155 extracted by my 'friends' as well, but feel free to add more as you see fit.
To make me feel better tho a mate let me have a proper blat in his 360 on Saturday and actually I was fairly impressed by the experience. Little understeery but apart from that it's cracking ride.
So not only have I mangled the Cerb but I'm now driving enjoying driving round in Fezza's. Line up here with the rotten tomatoes. One at a time. No pushing....

Ah yes! The old rear view mirror syndrome. Never need it in a Cerb going forwards, then forget to use it going backwards
That's why the kind people at TVR supplied gearboxes that don't like selecting reverse, but everyone has a Blonde moment now and then
Hope you get it sorted and you get that spaghetti-munching out of your system

ks, but at least it'll be repaired. GrahamN's looked great on the isle of man after his repair from a rear end shunt
