Scuderia Bizzarrini P538
Bizzarrini returns! (kind of)
Remember Bizzarrini? It may not have made as many cars, lasted as long, or sold as many as Ferrari and Lamborghini, but in terms of the sheer drama of its designs it was right up there.
Well Bizzarrini is back, sort of, with the P538, a speedster-style supercar.
OK, it’s not actually designed by Giotto Bizzarrini, or in fact has anything to do with him, but apparently he has given his approval for the project.
The P538 is still a concept but in theory would use a mid-mounted Chevrolet LS7 V8.
It is expected to be unveiled as a prototype at Italy’s Nardo test track later this month and it is hoped will go into limited production.

Is this one ditched then? Didn't hear anything of it recently. Also mister Bizza involvement there . . .

Looks great although to correct an earlier post the original P538 was mid-engined so correct lineage there and although some were fitted with detroit iron the original P538 had a lamborghini V12 in it.
A tasty 640 in
what a bliss idea.I wonder why no one ever did a recreation of the 5300 Strada America. The America had a composite body so there should be moulds.
One of the most gorgeous cars ever imo.

Ah, this is my kind of hybrid: American power and Euro/Brit chassis.
